I read somewhere once that “water is not a renewable resource” and it has always stuck with me. People do not realize this! It seems so plentiful and omnipresent but ever since I read that, when I waste water brushing my teeth or washing dishes, it hurts me! I feel so badly for our dear planet.
It's crazy -- it's something so simple yet so nearly impossible to make! And, yup, we assume it'll be there for us every time we turn on the tap to brush our teeth... What's crazy is our planet has been here for billions of years and will evolve; it's humans that are the blip and stand to suffer.
Really good point, James! The idea of the "Cloud" is so misleading. The energy needed for data centers is extraordinary. I don't know any town that would want a pop-up data center since they're pretty unattractive as well.

Yes And I Am Deeply Troubled That We Are Going To RUN Out Of Much Faster Now That These Very Unnecessary Data Centers Are Popping Up Everywhere.
